I have never called an SA. Just ordered online on 2/16 and keep watching others who ordered the same car a month or more after me get their car. Perhaps I should start calling for an update on a daily basis…hmmm.

Yep, since 2/20. App says they will notify me when it is time for delivery.

As far as we can tell, profile completion doesn't affect VIN assignment. Well, to an extent. As long as you have your delivery location and drivers license info inputted thats all that affects VIN assignment. Payment/Trade in shouldn't matter. Tesla wont even finalize trade in details until you get a VIN and are ready for delivery.

I have been at 6/6 - 7/4 for a month now. OD 2/16 Chicago. I would have thought I would be in a 2 week window at this point. Doubtful ill receive a VIN before end of quarter.

I ordered 2/12/22. Columbus Ohio pickup. My EDD has been 30 May - 27 Jun for almost a month now but has changed at least 4-5 times now. I got a trade in text some time in late March even though I am not trading in. The last EDD bump came on the first day of a 2 week window near the mid April.

I am hoping as I near the 30th, I get some good news and am hopefully picking a car up sometime in the beginning of June.

UPDATE: Some time in the last 30 minutes my EDD updated. It changed to 8 JUN - 22 JUN. I guess that is the two week EDD delivery window. Hopefully that means a VIN is coming in the coming days.

I’d much rather have a farther out date that stuck than this sh*tshow rollercoaster I’ve been on. When I ordered in January they said I should have it in March no problem. And here we are.

My EDD went to 6/11-6/25 yesterday and now this morning to 6/6-6/15. No hidden vin yet, but hoping I see one this week!

Why is my vin 442 and cars made two or three days later are 452. Seems a sudden change?

Hi everyone, I am new to the Model Y forum. I took delivery of my first Tesla, a Model X LR refresh last Friday and wow what an amazing vehicle, it took me a little over a year from order to delivery for that car. I also ordered a Model Y performance on 5/10/22. Let the waiting begin again!

I have searched for hidden VIN by going to "view source" and doing a CTRL-F to search VIN. Is that what people are doing to find this?
