Tesla vin has to be added to policy

Not in PA it doesn’t. Just need to upload a current valid policy in the purchasers name.

They accepted my insurance policy that was expiring in less than 30 days. That's without adding the Model Y as well.

You can’t accept delivery without it added has to be active 3 days prior to delivery as well

Doesn’t really matter. As long as you submit it before accepting delivery

Rumor is rates will go up 3/4 of a point on Wednesday.

That for sure will cause some cancelations with reservations.

Interest rates for auto loans. Fed should be speaking about that tomorrow or Wednesday.

Fed doesn’t raise rates for auto loans. They raise the overnight rate. Auto loans usually take time to be effected by the fed rate and not to the full extent they are raised.

Why should people cancel their reservation? I guess you apply for a loan before or right after you ordered the car?

Honestly, I was starting to lose faith and I was ready for a push into late July. To all of those waiting, keep at it! Hope everyone who ordered around my timeframe gets their VIN ASAP.

Not sure if you can request it before delivery, but they’ll install mudflaps at a service appointment.

Well, we woke up to a car in our driveway this morning! Carrier Direct experience was so much different from that with our MYLR7. Got a text from Tesla yesterday that it was being picked up; nothing from the carrier. No idea it was being delivered and he left it unlocked. Glad we live in a nice neighborhood. We had joked about waking up one morning to a Tesla and here we are haha. Tons of bugs on it and haven’t had a chance to look it over carefully, but it looks nice! Can’t wait to take it for a spin (after washing it, of course).

Sure, sorry, if you want to be more correct, yes I agree. I was jumping to the ripple effect that will eventually get to auto loans.

I feel like the car is expensive enough that most people won't cancel because a couple % points. Sure, there'll be a few, and paying more money sucks, but highly doubt it will cancel many.

That’s weird, check the app, you should be able to schedule delivery. My EDD after vin was 6/21-6/25 and the other day I was able to schedule the delivery for 6/21 at 10am.

That give me hope ! Congrats I ordered mine on March 15 MYP black with tow . Does that mean I’ll have my VIN tomorrow my EDD is July to September. congrats again
