Unfortunately, no. Since there’s a delivery center in NY, it needs to be delivered by a NY center for reasons surrounding registration or inspection or something. I think there are only 3 options, all downstate or basically downstate. Rochester is only a service center and can’t do deliveries.

Yes you would keep the old pricing. Between moving the middle row up and folding down the middle of the middle row so that my oldest (almost 6) can put her feet up there, she’s fine with the third row. Our younger two kids sit in the middle row.

Oh that’s PPF (paint protection film). Whether Tesla installs them at the factory for you or not depends on where you live, but those are good! Leave them on! @gidster99

Just picked up our MYP from the service appointment. They installed the mudflaps and shark fin PPF for free (including materials!). Wish we had known about that with our 7-seater and not spent money on buying the stuff. Not sure if that’s standard across the board, but figured I’d mention something.

I’m not sure, it’s worth asking, though. I know sometime the DC will deliver within that radius, but there doesn’t seem to be any pattern to who gets offered delivery vs who needs to pick up.

As of last week, DCU was 2.49% with all applicable discounts.

These texts between me and my husband sum it up pretty well. I was going through source code looking for a VIN when I got the text.

Pretty much everything is situated - check from DCU sent, down payment paid, insurance added, Carrier Direct paperwork completed and will be shipped back to them tomorrow. “Delivery date” is Saturday, but since that’s when it’s supposed to arrive at Mt Kisco we won’t expect it until next week...

Delivery date now showing as 6/11. Doesn’t mean terribly much, as it’s just an expectation of when they expect to have everything situated (doing Carrier Direct), but going off our previous experience hopefully we get the car a few days after that!

Can’t speak to the Bronco, but my ILs got a Mach-E earlier this year. The dealer placed the order in April 2021, I think ILs snagged it during the summer. So, not completely apples to apples because they didn’t put anything down for the reservation, but they agreed to a price with the dealer...

We have the 20 inch wheels and honestly I don’t know where the rough ride comments come from. They handle bumps better than any of our recent cars, even a minivan. No regrets (yet).

Husband talked to Mt Kisco. Car is scheduled to arrive there on the 11th and has all-season tires, which we’re happy about. Going to do Carrier Direct, so hopefully we’ll get it early the week of the 13th.

We got our LR VIN on 4/27 and the car arrived at the DC on 5/9 (delivered to us 5/13). So, week and a half to Mt Kisco, then a few more days for delivery. Assuming no transportation delays, I think it buys us a little more time, but we’ll see how it plays out.

There are a bunch of us on the east coast with EDD ranges right around the same time. I’m hoping that’s a good sign, but we’ll see. I think we probably have another week, week and a half to get VINs and make it in this quarter.

Are you sure it’s 144 and not 441?

If you are financing, ask Tesla to open up the payment and enter in the bank info. Then your MVPA (which you should ge able to see as soon as you get your VIN) will update and you use that to send to the bank/CU.

In all honesty, Tesla really just cares about getting the cars sold and in their books. Customer service is not their strong suit. You could ask, but I would be surprised if they accommodated that.

We didn’t - we had something ready, but he was quick to be on his way and didn’t really do anything extra 🤷🏻‍♀️
