Need some guidance/suggestion on next steps. During delivery I had several alignment issues including an issue with sunken hood. To fix the sunken hood Tesla will be replacing the hood. But, from what I understand, the hood needs to be painted as they ship without any factory paint. My worry is that the paint will not match my car's factory paint and result in several cycles of rework.
Question for folks:
1. Has anyone gone through this process of replacing the hood? How was the paint quality? Especially with Red
2. Do they allow you to keep the old hood just in case you are not satisfied with the result?
3. Any other suggestions, alternate approaches are welcome
