Red ! After Service Center Visit?

    Hey guys - noob question, but I picked my car up from a couple-hour stop at the SC here in Tysons, and noticed (and should have asked, derp) a Red ! box on the touchscreen. It says "Software Updates Required", and to contact Tesla service.

    Called Technical support this morning, who referred the ticket back to my local SC. I'm kind of assuming it has something to do with 8.0, but it's not the standard software update notification. (And I did the incremental update earlier this week.)

    Thoughts?

    I'm also in N.VA and received the 8.0 update OTA last night. I let it install this morning. You're even closer to the TYCO store and should receive any necessary software updates over the air. But probably the best course of action is to do what you've already done: contact the service center.

    Mine gave me the same error after the 8 update. I just restarted the 17" and it was fine.

    This happened to me once after a ranger repaired my door handle. Tried to reboot with no change. If you call service, they will push the last update to your car again.

    No kidding, that's the work I had done too. I wonder if that's what's up.
