Red Vinyl Wrap

Has anybody here had their MS wrapped in any of the 3M 1080 red colors? I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on this since I'm not in love with factory solid black. Pics with the actual color name would be great. I'm not sure how the satin or matte would look in red. Thanks!

What about a satin PPF wrap? More protection and longer lasting. It would spice up your black. Although, you couldn’t change colors.

You could wrap with expel stealth to give the black a matte/satin finish.

Mine was done in gloss metallic blue 1080 3M just as a comparison to gloss vs satin. The gloss basically makes it look exactly like paint and even shinier in the sun

Original colour was obsidian black.

how much does a full wrap normally run? I had my old 2013 P85 wrapped almost full (-rear hatch) in suntech, but it was also paint corrected and I can't find the invoice to see what the breakout was...

Looks like it'll be around $3kish+tax to start. I'm thinking about doing a clear wrap and some chrome delete... so $3.5k+tax might be a good ballpark

I like how you did the handles and sills in red. What color is the car underneath?

I have Multicoat red and want to tone down the gloss. Stuck between Xpel stealth or color change wrap.

I have also multi coat red underneath it. The back isn't completed yet as you can see here still need the chrome parts the be black and the tesla letters need to be red on the back
