I'm taking my wife, and while she doesn't have any Tesla pickup experience she is eagle eyed and meticulous. She'll spot the tiniest imperfection or speck of dirt from a mile away. Normally this annoys the hell out of me lol... But in this situation it will come in handy.
Maybe this could be a new career for her, professional Tesla Inspector. People might be willing to pay for her meticulous perfectionism.

Come to think of it, would be even better if she worked for Tesla Delivery center.....

I thought the X and S had ventilated seats?
Yes S & X do, so not really a fair comparison. I was thinking more along the lines of the 3 or Y (I also have a M3 RWD on order). EV6 and Ioniq 5 are both priced less than Y and 3 LR, even without the $7500 tax credit. But alas, I am still very excited about my upcoming MX LR 5 seater WITH ventilated seats!

I texted my SA (just some general number for Loveland Colorado) to express my concern about getting a 2021 VIN. I received a text response that they could remove the vehicle from my account and put me back in the queue for a new one. They said I could check the vehicle before I make a final decision. They could not give me an update on timing until the existing vehicle was removed from my account. Will be same price and configuration. Estimated delivery date of March 22 for the 2021 VIN. Thoughts?
Just go for it. You are getting an amazing deal, and if you really don't like it, sell it and get in line for a new one, or somebody else's new amazing car, and there are many coming! But really what are the differences, 2021 vs 2022, negligible, really.
If you have more time than money, then get back in line and hope for the best, but this is Tesla and that sounds like more stress and uncertainty to me.
I just realized that buying a Tesla creates the same onslaught of hormones as casino gambling

Thanks for the posting. Especially like the 38 MPH charging with 11.5kw. Don't understand the YoutubeTV statement, or is this just your humor?
We have YouTube TV instead of cable/dish. Cheaper and basically the same channels, plus you can take it anywhere with you on your phone, or Tesla.

In the YouTube app on the Tesla, click the 9 square icon and a few other options pop up. You can select YouTube TV if you subscribe and sign in.

Yeah the pic is from a Model 3 I found on YouTube, I was too lazy to walk 30 steps to my garage. Turns out when doors just start opening and closing for you, you get even lazier.

There are no SoCal love so far for the VIN? I have not seen many new VIN in Cali yet. Hope they start the end of quarter push soon.
No love.
I literally got a forward collision warning on the X when the car was atleast 10 car lengths away I wasnt even doing anything wrong now it done dropped my safety score 😡😡 the X’s always was super sensitive for no reason. Autopilot and everything in general was always better on the 3’s and Y’s
If no forward collision warning event, than surely the subsequent hard braking would ding your score something fierce. oh do I not look forward to that safety score again. Maybe the timing will work out when Elon drops the score minimum to 96. At least then they will be looking to add a bunch of Beta testers. I can't see myself in the new Plaid driving like grandma for months on end until the FSD fathers(Karpathy and whomever) decide to allow me in. With all that speed and glory of the Plaid? I won't do it. I can't.
In my Y you could hold the two wheels on the steering wheel to reset the car, that makes it forget the last event on the safety score... may work :D
I was told they had finally caught on to this in a previous software update.
