While waiting on my new X…. I test drove the Audi Etron. It’s a beautiful car, luxury, nice touches. The poor sales guy was pointing out features that my 2019 X has better, rear camera, satellite gps view. We then drove the car, I got on 95 and the guy says punch it so you can “feel” the power! I looked at him and grinned, I was punching it, the poor Audi is no match VS. my X for driving enjoyment.
I really wanted to buy the Audi as it’s more luxurious and a quiet ride. The terrible range and lack of power was the deal breaker for me.

Now I have a Tesla race waiting to see what comes in first, my LR S or my X, hoping it’s the X, not sure if I want to go back to opening doors the old way again.
I’m a current Q5 owner wanted to convert to EV.
Same thoughts on the range- sort of a deal breaker

I really don't understand why they don't... I get that they have the auto mechanism but you would think they'd be able to engineer full folding. We currently have a Subaru ascent with captains chairs and the middle row folds completely flat.
I have a 2017 Ford Explorer with heated, cooled and message front seats. Tesla can only figure out how to do heat and "ventilated" seats. Plus my 2017 Ford Explorer 7 seater only cost me $56K.

But it’s recall hell with that explorer. My wife has the same year explorer. Has had at least 4 recalls. We are getting rid of it as we speak. She wanted a VW Atlas… and the captain chairs fold flat.

I just called the Customer Service number and used the Fremont zip code. The woman looked up my account and said there was no additional info noted on my account - no vin assignment date or anything else regarding vin/delivery, etc. I have a Red/Black LR 6 seater with 20" wheels and FSD. Ordered on February 1 and I'm in PA.
Yae! Someone else in PA! I’m not the only one….

Last Sunday I got "the call" about upgrading my 5 seat Plaid to a 6 seat (which I did and got a new sales agreement with the changed info). Today I got another call, from Greg in Fremont, to "confirm my configuration details, registration details, etc" and to give me his contact info as my delivery specialist (I'm doing factory delivery even though I live in Los Angeles). He wouldn't confirm any more delivery information, nor would he commit to any guarantee on the delivery date, but said that they are now calling people to confirm all of the details in preparation for final delivery. Has anyone else received this second confirmation call?

Hi folks,

want to give a quick update on the car. I guess it is similar to the new S where the yoke needs some time to get used to. I thought the build quality was much better than I anticipated. For instance, the front and falcon door handle alignment is very good. There was an instance of disabled air compressor with warning message, but disappears after a hard power off.

I won't say the third row is anywhere close to spacious but the second row can be adjusted forward. In this case if its not for little ones, I feel that the 6-seater may provide a better 3rd row experience because the passengers can at least put their legs in the middle. Also, to fold the 3rd row I first press a button to fold the headset, and then manually fold the body, I was hoping it can be fully automatic given its price range.

Also found it annoyed that we can't seen to zoom in the navigation map. Still can't figure out if the currently offered weather mat is compatible with the 2021 version. Tried reaching out to Tesla but did not get any response yet.

I have gotten several PMs on asking more pictures so I will try to share some later.

Wife shared this to me from her Tesla Divas group. Looks like another delivery in freemont today :( I want mine!

I have a pre refresh reservation and can't put in payment options.. is this the same for other folks? If I change my configuration I get the new pricing :( so I don't want that. I've reached out to my SA but getting crickets..

Quick question, do the new X comes with the remotes like the older ones came with?

And to think the new LR X is basically the old Performance X, its gonna be a wild upgrade for me from our 2018 75D in performance and range, and adaptive suspension o_O

Interesting! Mind sharing your order date and config? Also, how and why did you pick Fremont? Just hoping to get it faster?
