I forgot to add, i’m trading in my model 3 (2018 dual motor with 20k miles). In February they offered me 38k for it. I’ve had to update the trade in every 30 days and the latest offer is 46.5k. Crazy stuff.

I wanted to trade-in my M3 when I booked my MX. We are a 1-car family for over a year, and now we feel the need for a second car. Changed my mind with the current market. Keeping the M3 for couple of more years till market settles. Kinda apprehensive of being an all-electric family, but looking forward to it.

Was thinking the same thing. I have the right configuration but ordered in May’21, so maybe my car really will arrive in Jan as the EDD says haha.

I have to imagine that if they were calling people to change to 6 seater, that means they had enough to satisfy existing orders and then had a surplus. So theoretically those of us who had 6 seater from the beginning should get filled if those who switched to it later are getting filled.

But then again who knows what the hell they’re doing, it could also have been a sham to upsell those who ordered early.

Isn't your order date the latest to receive a VIN? That's great news as many have been for 2020 orders and a few in January.

Yeah my VIN shouldn't be too far out as well. I originally ordered a LR 6 seat w/w on 20's back on FEB 24th. And I'm taking delivery in SoCal.
