Are you speculating that each SC got allocated a certain number for December deliveries, or do you have that on good authority?

I just called my local SC and they said that's not the case. There is no allotment per SC to their knowledge.

If it makes you feel better, I’m 114375879 and still no VIN for an early January 6 seat LR. Plenty of us from early 2021 still waiting.

I order back in June 2020, I had a LR+ with free charging. They never called to ask me to convert to the refresh. After months of waiting I started calling and emailing I was able to finally talk to my SA, he went to work for me. I was able to get free supercharging. But for 14k more , it's built into the pricing

You are getting screwed. Supercharging is nice but like 1k nice. Not 14k.

I noticed the people getting VINs are not checking it refreshing their apps. Maybe I shouldn't check or refresh every 10 seconds and maybe just maybe I'll get a Vin

I think yesterday one from Sunrise and one from Ft Lauderdale got VINs

Yes, I got my Model X VIN yesterday and I still have no clue who is my SA. Lol .
I just called Tesla (1-888 number) this morning to switch from cash to finance.
The process was very simple and only took less than 5 minutes. Soon be my car is still in California.
