Dude! My speaker grill has been rattling too. I hear a few squeaks in the back, but I think they may be my twin's car seats. My appointment is on the 24th of March. Originally 28th of February, then pushed to the 14th of March, and finally pushed again to the 24th of March. Assuming it doesn't get pushed back yet again, I will get some answers including why my car refuses to update to the latest firmware.

Here is an interested bit of info. I took my brother and his daughter along with us to the Houston Rodeo last night. They loved the car, but the only feedback that bugged me was how uncomfortable the seat belts were for the captain's chairs in the middle row. They said they were oddly positioned and dug into their neck. I can see that for his daughter as she's 5'5", but my brother is 5'11". So not sure what to think of it. That's something I hadn't tried myself as I'm the driver. But curious what others' feedback may be regarding those seatbelts.

My speaker grill on the driver side was squeaking when driving over bumpy roads (the only kind in SLC). The service center supposedly put in some sound deadening material. It still squeaks when it is cold out, but it stops when it is warmer, or the sun has been shining in the car. The car is otherwise silent. Hopefully someone will post if they get a definitive fix for this seemingly common issue.

After 411 days I took delivery of my MX LR last Saturday March 12th. I picked it up in Lynnwood, WA SC.

The pick up went really well. The SC people were really good and the car had been looked over pretty well. My original delivery attempt on February 8th was delayed because the FWD doors needed alignment and then it was noticed that some oil was on one of the door panels so a new one needed to be ordered.

I have only driven it 150 miles.
So far it’s incredible and with the wait. I do like the yoke. I have no issues with the turn signals. THE adjustment did not take long at all.

I’m in the process of doing an XPEL stealth wrap. Never wrapped a car before. Taking it slow. But so far so good. I’ve done the trim above the driver side doors and the hood so far.

Sadly, I went to go take my daughter to school Friday and the key could not be detected. I tried all the things. Key fobs. Phone key. Key cards. Nothing would work. I could use the key fob and phones to unlock the car by walking up to it. So it knew they were close by, just not in the car. Reset the touch screen. Powered off. Waited. Still nothing. Called road side and their only solution was to have it towed to the SC. So now it sits there waiting for a tech to find out what happened. Their initial look said it’s working fine. The keycard I sent with it they said was detected. So not sure what’s up. I hope they find something. Last year I had an issue with my Mercedes where it would crank but never start. Got it towed and the shop tested it and it worked fine. Has been fine ever since.

The tow truck driver was familiar with Tesla’s, but he had never seen a refresh. He was amazed by the yoke. It was fun to see his reaction to the new interior.

Black Tesla on Youtube was surmising that the 7 seat may not fit with the new Plaid rear motor, hence the change. This shouldn't affect the 5 seat though they're not selling 5 with Plaid. One day the facts will reveal themselves.

How does that even make sense? The rear row is available on the 6, unless the middle row bench mount points are insufficient. Still doesn't make sense if they're offering the 5 or 6.

Tesla just pushed my service appointment all the way to april 5th . The more I drive the car the worse it gets. Everything was fine now it sounds like a rattle box lol. Speaker grill rattling, driver seat squeaking every bump, something on the 2nd row rattles I can’t tell what it is. My tail light cover fell off. The plastic trim near the hydraulic on my FWD is not popped all the way in. Sheeeeeeeeesh . My left signal light says it has a fault and needs to be fixed by service occasionally.

Just had my MX LR 5 seat Black/Black delivered today. Car was delivered to the house in a box van with a tilt ramps which was convenient. Back row is a 60/40 split with the 60 being on the driver side. There was a chip on the passenger door, but tesla called before hand and said I could take delivery and schedule a service visit later free of charge and I would be given a replacement car while it was being painted. I also have this in email and text in the event they try and back track. Overall, seems like a great car and the passenger seat does have the controls and all windows roll up and back down. Hitch receiver is in a bag in the frunk and I plan on testing it out this week. The car also only came with the 120v charging adapter, but I have a 240v charger for my S that I can use since they do have the same port. I'll try and post some pictures later.

One question.. can you confirm if the 5-seater has the wireless phone chargers in the back seat? There is some conflicting information in the manual that may or may not be copy-paste from the S. It says the MX is equip with wireless chargers in the front and rear, but on another page shows an image of the seats w/o a charger. I know its unlikely but curious

Is this just a glitch? Does it mean anything that the app thinks the car can get 400mi range? I drove the car till it had 7 mi left then decided to charge and this is what the app said.

Make sure the setting in the car is showing rated range.

I don’t think there’s wireless charging in the back. There are two usb C ports.

I can answer that for you… There is no wireless charging in the back of a model X no matter the seat configuration
