My wife loves them so I put them on her car. I had to make a small modification so the windows can still lower when you open the rear doors. I also put some clear scotch tape over the base to make sure it’s secured to the car.
Didn't know you had to be female to appreciate that...because I’m a female and I think they are so cute on the cars.

Its a fair question. I have no idea. I dont think it would hurt going down, going up it might do something. Chances are low.
As OakvilleMYP alluded to, SnapPlate offers a reindeer kit. If I really wanted to spread the holiday joy, I'd stick with that instead of possibly fouling up my window seals.
