Rejected delivery

Definitely, I got a call an hour after leaving their office, reminding me about CEV. I told him, it's ok, I'll wait, they still have $22 - $32 million. Honestly, there is no rush, every other manufacturer is out of stock, only Tesla is delivering at this point. Everyone should be rejecting their car if it is not up to par.

Other car company might offer you a small discount but not Tesla.
I will definitely check every details. A certain amount of people won't check the car as it shouldn't have any problems as with other cars in the $60k range (before rebate). They might not even notice it after delivery.

I totally agree, it does boggle my mind that they rather ship me a new car than to replace a part that is $30 and takes 6 mins of labor (source Sanny Munro and "how to replace model 3 mirror youtube clip, respectively).
Not quite what I meant.

For the sake of JUST the mirror? I’d have taken the car and had the mirror replaced later. For fit & finish I can understand rejecting, but not something that trivial.

Mines at 11 also on the 13th.

I will also not sign until I inspect the car as well.
Perhaps our paths will cross, then! I've been given the VIN finally, just showed up in my Tesla account. My plan is to go early and inspect the car as best I can half an hour before the appointment. Since most problems seem to be related to exterior, hopefully I can get a good look beforehand on the quality of the build. But yeah, for sure do not sign anything till you fully inspect it!

As an update to everyone. My order has been officially cancelled after vehicle rejection. I'm still waiting for the $3200 credit on my credit card.

I'm not sure if this makes a difference, but I'm dealing with sales staff for a potential reorder. I'm hoping better luck this time and I'm not worried about BC CEV. If that changes, maybe I'd just reconsider in general, but I don't view this as my fault because of the quality issues and lack of care during delivery. So, I have no qualm cancelling again.

It's kind of sad seeing how others are rejecting for issues that can be easily addressed. I'll admit, if the second order goes through and there are issues at delivery, I might just avoid Tesla all together. It's disappointing, but, oh well.

If you pick up at West 4th, you may want to bring a good light (better than your phone flashligh app). It is fairly dim in parts, I used my phone light but we still missed something on the exterior.

For those who rejected delivery in Vancouver, how long do you have to wait for the replacement vehicle? Is it same as if placing a brand-new order?

I had to reject mine yesterday due to stains in the front and rear seats that wouldn't come out despite three people trying to clean it. I offered to accept it and just bring it to a detailer but my only option was either accept it as is or reject it and request a replacement vehicle and wait for delivery again.

Just a note on the Powell Street location. I've never had a new car delivery experience go so bad. They were totally neglecting me and my wife and there was totally no customer service. It's like they all hate their job and doesn't want to deal with humanity. Everyone was monotone and had no facial expression. I wonder if Elon has successfully replaced humans with robots and it was robots that were serving me.

Look I understand your frustration but my delivery experience was very good and the Delivery Specialist was not a robot and real nice person. Why don't you just cancel your order and go buy a EV from the competitors. Tesla just wants everyone to breath fresh air. It doesn't have to be from a Tesla.
