Retail PurchaseAgreement Showing 50 miles on Odometer

Hi Folks,
Just downloaded a copy of our RPA and noticed besides a VIN the vechicle has 50 miles on the odometer.
That is a red flag for me, would it be for you?
Where has this car been?

Thoughts?

The actual reading on the car will be much much lower.

I thought it was a state law that actual mileage had to be shown, not true?

Any idea on when this VIN was manufactured 101xxx.

Actual has to be at or below the listed value, within a certain range.

The 50 value accounts for mileage in testing at the factory plus on and off the transporter, shuffling around the delivery center lot, etc.

It won't have 50 miles on it, that's just the default value as everyone has said (and has been asked and answered here over and over again-- search is a wonderful thing). But even if it did, why would that be a problem for you? If it took driving 50 miles to make sure everything was working properly in your car, wouldn't you rather Tesla did that rather than deliver it and hope for the best? Seems like they can't win-- if cars are delivered with problems that appear soon afterwards the owners complain, if cars are driven long enough to make sure problems are fixed then owners complain about that too?

Picked mine up a few hours ago. It had a total of 12.

My delivery specialist put 7 miles on it driving it back from their offsite prep area

Normal. Mine has 50 on the paperwork but less than 50 on the odometer.

I would be slightly more understanding if I were you. For many people this is their first major purchase, especially if buying new cars all the time, so things like this may be unfamiliar to them.
