Had my sills installed last Friday. Here are a couple pics with a (dirty) black interior.

I'm thinking of having someone who does carbon fiber parts do a custom mold of the door sills and make them again.
He does outstanding work and has been doing a business in CF custom parts for a quite a while.
Anyone else interested? The more I get made, the cheaper they would be. Just looking to see if anyone is interested in the upgrade?

I'm working on price... yes Hood Vanes and Tail would be my next choice as well. My old red and black roadster ( #116) had them and it looked awesome with the tail fins all CF.
There is heavy labor costs up front for the molds, (60-120 HRS) but once that is done, its fairly easy for the 2nd...3rd... etc... so trying to get an idea of who is interested so I can figure out if its worth it...
I'll get back to everyone shortly with an approx price and lead time for the door sills... I'm trying to see if they guy from Panja who was selling them but not making them anymore, will sell me his molds, I've contacted him....as that would significantly lower the costs as well.

I've actually been pulling molds from my car for this purpose since it's no longer my daily and easier to work with. The work is a huge PITA and massive time suck, so if someone else can offer it done for a good price I'd be interested.

I've got a friend who does racing steering wheels and aftermarket parts for BMW's all in CF. He's been doing it for years and is very successful. He offered to help me with it by doing the molds and then producing the parts.
Since CF is an art to get it right, I was going to let someone else with extensive experience do the work.
I just need to find pictures of the TESLA ones close up and different angles, or even better the actual ones we can mold,

Once I get mine done and paid for all the tooling and molds, etc...we can sell to the group. I just want to get the two molds/tooling costs back if a few more people buy them...
I just want to make sure its a quality product and will works as expected.
I've heard too many horror stories about bad CF dealing with parts never showing up...etc
CarbonOne user, from Chicago, who has since been banned comes to mind on this forum....

I'm building the molds anyway, regardless of how many people want them because I want a set for my own Roadster. The only thing I need now is more time to work on it... I'm not going to have brushed aluminum scuff plates but I will look into paint protection film which I think is a better solution.
