Roof Lining Coming Out — Easy Fix?

Hey all,

Was washing my Model 3 with waterless wash this evening and noticed that this lining was loose in the roof. I can slip it back in, but is this something I can just super glue and fix or something I should be a bit more concerned with and have Tesla come look at? 2018 with 33k miles on it, so it’s still under warranty:

Solved:

Yes it's a aftermarket gasket. The previous owner should have dabbled some specialise glue for those type of thing.

Nothing to worry about but it may fly out if you don't push it back in. Or just remove it and go buy some window trim glue. They're usually dark black-grey color

Do you know anybody who has done that? I have one of those gasket en route. I don't plan to use any silicon or glue, and see if it stays put on long trips. I was thinking of filling up those gaps with something black like 'flex seal', but nobody replied to a thread I started in early January. Thanks.

i have one too. it does sometimes come out a bit when wiping the window with a glove.
i wouldnt glue it in as it doesnt matter. the real value is not the noise reduction but that it keeps the seal clean and easy the wipe.

the rubber will stay in just fine. if it doesnt you buy a new one from aliexpress for 2 bucks.
