saving passenger AC/vent/seat settings

My wife and I have a constant battle about the ventiliation in the car. She has very particular requirements for the air. As a passenger in a normal car she can just set the vents as she likes. In the Tesla though it seems to forget her settings each time we start a trip. Does the car save the vent/ac settings for the passenger as well as driver?
ie. could I set a profile "married bliss" perhaps that saves everyone's setup?

That would be a nice feature to have for Tesla to save the passenger's setting as well.

@angelman Unfortunately, the car does not save AC settings per driver profile. It saves whatever the last set up was left on. Luckily for me, I don't have to share my car

Unless someone changed the vent settings it should be where your wife left it.

My wife gets in and she only has to un-sync and then adjust the temp on her side. The vent is where she left it.

hmm. I see that would make sense. She remarked that when she got in the car all the settings had changed from where she had them the last time (noone had changed them in between). I'll have to do some tests

angelman...our Y is doing the same thing yours is. The vents and back AC are defaulted to Driver vent only. Temp setting stats, but everything else goes to default after every ride

Currently the passenger vent settings reset on my Model 3 every drive. I want the air pointed down at my dog, and it defaults to pointing at an imaginary person's eyes.

I really want passenger profiles. If we can have driver profiles, why not passenger profiles too?

AFIK the passenger seat isnt connected to the canbus so doesnt and cant save its data

what exactly are people seeing get reset every time? my model 3 seems to hold onto whatever it was set when i last left the car...

Nope. The passenger seat is controlled by VCRight - which is definitely connected to can bus.

This is weird. When I get back in the car the passenger A/C is always in the same setting I left it and not the default straight forward. I have it set to both "vents" placed together and turned towards me. It stays like that when I get in. Is that different than the norm ?

My settings are whatever I left it at the last time I changed it. Never changes to a "default".

I think "dog mode" and "camp mode" reset the air vent to pointing straight forward. Which is silly. Most dogs curl up in the seat, so the air should point down, or be configurable.
