Screen Rubbing Off

This site may earn commission on affiliate links.
My car is less than 6 months old and the bottom of the screen has started rubbing off. I dont use any products to clean the screen. I just carry around a microfiber cloth in my passenger seat and regularly wipe it

Has anyone else experienced this? Will Tesla replace it?

Took me 3 months to realize that the the factory screen protector was not removed upon delivery. It is much more difficult to see than you think. I would double check. You can see a very thin line around the bezel and are able to lift it with a finger nail.

I’m pretty sure there is nothing to delaminates on that screen, ( unless you left the protector on ).

There was a video done on how hard that screen is. I think it was Derek and Eric or some names like that.

They determined that the model 3 screen is super strong. Took hard diamond to scratch it.
There didn’t appear to be anything on it that could delaminate.

That almost looks like something under the glass.
Can you feel any raised edges ? If so, my bet is some protective coating on it.
