So, three months in, with daily use shuttling a 5 year old and a 2.5 year old around, and I'm happy to say that the seat backs are holding up very well. Shown is the seat back where the 2.5 year old sits. I am definitely not one to baby my car and both kids wear their shoes in the car. The 2.5 year old loves to kick the seat back, but even so, there are only a few marks from the rubber sole which are easily and completely removed by a gentle wipe with a Mr Clean Magic Eraser. The only marks you see are streak marks from me wiping it down. If I use a microfiber cloth and wipe the streaks away, you won't even see any hairline scratches. So far so good.
