Congratulations! And: damn, I wish that would happen to me! I'm 09/10, so maybe it's not too far off. I'm curious about the configuration you're ordering to be scheduled to get it so soon? Of course, you might also just be in an area Tesla have a shipment to on that date. It all seems so utterly random...

One guess at the seemingly-random EDD jumps: Tesla has a somewhat-legit many-month backlog for MYLR cars. As people in line look at the potential $7.5k tax credit and/or just get cold feet, they pause or cancel their slot.... then Tesla scans the list for someone who wanted what just got abandoned and presto that person gets a new EDD date (taking the empty spot that was bailed on). It's the only way I can make sense of the pattern.

Oh, and now we have news of a $2k Model Y price increase... that's gonna cause even more chaos!
Congrats! You win the prize! Your EDD date range is now only 69 days instead of 70.

That's not what I'm seeing:
Here are all the updated prices for all versions of the Model Y:
- Tesla Model Y Long Range Dual Motor: price went from $52,990 to $54,990
- Tesla Model Y Performance: price went from $60,990. to $61,990
I think the fact that it is a California delivery is a big factor in the short time between order date and EDD. The fact that the configuration is also pretty standard probably also helps.
I ordered 9/8. Haven't touched my account in like 3 days. Logged in today and my delivery date is 10/16 - 10/22 and I have a VIN!

I just hope they don't mess with me.
I'm psyched but I was so prepared for a Jan 2022 date. I am closing on my house (Seling) on Oct 25th. Was hoping for after that, but I'll take it.
Have to get all my stuff in order.:

Accessories.
Getting nervous. Also getting a stealth Xpel wrap on the whole vehicle with tint and ceramic coating.

Boys! Ordered my MYLR on 9/14, white on white 5 seater. Placed my order at the actual Tesla Center so my rep helped me complete my profile. That same day I saw a Feb 2022 EDD. The next day I log on to check and saw the EDD was gone. Logged on today and bam, EDD 12/21-12/31. So stoked!!!

Ordered 9/12 with an EDD of February, then it disappeared. Completed registration details on 9/29.
Then got a text message yesterday from Tesla informing me they switched my delivery location to another delivery center in my area.

Just checked mine, but my EDD is Feb 22 - Mar 22. Hopefully it moves up a bit.
