Well, that was encouraging. A dozen or so blocks of 1,000 shares were just bought and the price went from 203 to 207 in less than a minute. Somebody with size is buying here.

I have doubts about the credibility of that tweet/article but it does seem like there may be something brewing on the Tesla/Apple front. I don't believe an acquisition will occur but I could see an investment or collaboration.

openoutcrier only has 10k followers, not sure if that's enough to move the share price, but can't hurt that AAPL has been in the Tesla conversation lately. It makes sense for AAPL to invest though, pretty much in the way Microsoft bought 2% of FB 3-5 years before its IPO

the fact that both companies have been mum makes it more credible. BMW was very quick to squash any rumor.. just my swag.

It actually make sense for apple to invest since they cannot buy. It'll influence TSLA enough to put apple into its center console and TSLA can stop poaching apple talent for the center console as well as saving some R&D cost

I see this application to extend confidentiality around 10-Q and 10-K forms from 2011/2012, but not for any new documents. Was there anything else lately regarding confidentiality of the most recent filing (it is odd it's not available)?

I have for a very long time been in the "Apple will not buy Tesla" camp. That said, I'm OK with a strategic investment of say...10% or so. I am also OK with Apple becoming a Gigafactory partner. This was discussed once before, but I couldn't really see a reason for them to "donate" money to the project. However, now that we know they are working on an EV of their own, well, they have to get their batteries from somewhere.

I'm completely an independent trader, I wait for patterns I like and go for 2% with a 2% stop loss.

Maybe a J.V. for GF-2 and a second factory.
