Not sure if it was reported but I can see the Model X configurator now
bumping this question: has that always been there?
Also is there a price increase (beyong the 0.8% rise) for the change from 70D to 75D for base Model X?
Yep! I was just told that by TM support as well... They created a reservation number for me and added the new S to my account since the public side is having issues. WOOTX configurator is up. X base battery is now a 75D.
Hmmm, I am still sidelined wondering when the 100 will come out. I do love the new look and my finger hovers ever closer to the "upgrade" button.
Someone has an itchy trigger finger over at TM.... and now the X configurator is closed again to non-res holders. Wow!

With all this Model 3 hype you would think it would be a catalyst for Tesla's stock, which has been trading under $200 for quite some time due to (yet again) missing delivery estimates. It looks like analysts aren't too hopeful they can meet their targets for Model 3 Tesla Motors (TSLA) Analyst Ratings | TipRanks
Nice!Seems like they've gone for a Model X charger on the Model S. Should simplify production.
High Amperage Charger Upgrade
Model S comes standard with a 48 amp onboard charger capable of charging at the rate of more than 25 miles of range for each hour of charge. This is sufficient to recharge Model S overnight when connected to a common NEMA 14-50 outlet or Tesla wall connector. Every Model S benefits from Tesla’s expanding Supercharger network for travel over long distances.
This option equips Model S with a 72 amp onboard charger for a 50% higher rate of charge when paired with a Tesla wall connector on a 100 amp circuit breaker. Charge rates when connected to 120 volt outlets, 240 volt outlets and Tesla Superchargers will be unaffected.
