Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

The next real catalyst/stop the bleeding event that is company specific is a buyback. The board is probably deliberating on it and setting it up depending on what macro looks like in 2023, but I do think it needs to happen.

Foundational Pillars Tesla Auto - EV Demand increasing globally for the foreseeable future (even with "competition")...

Moderators' Choice: Posts of Particular Merit

Been a hot minute since I've been on this thread. Let's think about the fundamental story of Tesla: Tesla Specific (short term) - Achieving 50% growth this year is possible without Austin or Berlin - Austin and Berlin are soon to be "officially" online, while Shanghai is increasing capacity...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

The inflation fears are absolutely overblown. A lot of one time recovery bits built in. Even so, with the amount of FUD, TSLA is technically oversold in almost every metric (if you believe in TA). We'll see what happens but this rocket is refueling just as it has in the past.

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Same sentiment. I don't think it's been this bad since 2013. It's pretty crazy. I'm just waiting for the Gordon Johnson appearances on CNBC now. Oddly enough that Reuters article is terrible enough that I think Tesla/Elon should say something.

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

That Reuters article that was posted is borderline criminal. All the proper keywords are there for algo trading. It's such a pointless article that's the worst part haven't seen FUD like this in a while.

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Crazy to watch, but nothing has fundamentally changed with the company. Movements we saw today were largely due to macro economic factors, namely long term interest rates-- it was a "risk off" day. In addition, there's way too much noise about the competitors that are once again creating...

Hello All, Haven't chimed in for a bit. Recent times have been absolutely crazy both positive and negatives. Set your stops don't be too greedy. I am holding 98% of my TSLA because I still believe in the mission. Your money should go to work for good causes (so long as you don't need it for...

The significance of the battery technology is not appreciated yet. it’ll take some time. More importantly the time horizon of 12-18 months is pretty impressive for the progress. increased output, lower cost, increased ROI on capex. All sounds great to me.

LUCID will be just fine and so will Tesla. The pie is big enough for everyone to have a slice. That said, it will be incredibly difficult for them to scale and they have a higher standard. They are going to try to eat the upper echelon S class, Bentley's, and Rolls. Very very different market

Enjoy the sale folks. This is a mix of - S&P Inclusion (lack thereof) - certain retail investors were banking on this - Macro environment (historically Sept doesn't do great for tech) - Share dilution (although we were talking about ~1%, it still matters) People are panicking, but most of the...
