Here’s my set of 20 inch Vossen VFS4’s.
20x9 +32 front and 20x10.5 +45 rear. Got them at a deep discount for Black Friday - hadn’t seen another MS with them on the internet. Needed a +11 hubcentric spacer custom built to get the rears to not rub the shocks. All pictures on standard height but lowered using Unplugged lowering brackets.

these are absolutely fire. i almost jumped on their black friday sale too but they didnt have the vfs2 i wanted for our MS. i ended up finding some used 22"s on fb for a great deal (but have since removed them because they kill me on range!)
question though- why did you need a hubcentric spacer? i installed mine with no issue. or maybe i just wasnt aware of it. would like to know because im on the market for the vossen vfs 1 or 2 (if anyone is selling some?! :) and dont want to have any isues.

thank you and good looking car!

Just an FYI r0bgj,

Here are m Vossen CV4 Matte Graphite (285/35/20 rear, 245/40/20 front). However they stopped make these. I do like the new VFS 4. If I need new wheels I will always go with Vossens or HRE.

My model S sitting on Dubs from EvWheels easily saved $500-$1500 compared to other brands.

20x8.5" +35 - 31.2lbs - they actually weight 31.5 per wheel.
I bought Extreme continental tires DWS from America's tires they are rated for 40k miles pretty quiet, super thin on the tire walls popped one going over the curb.
Color - Onyx [Satin] Black

For questions on tint - 5% all around
15% on front driver/front passenger
70% windshield
Solar guard - Ceramic Charcoal series grey hues. I never precondition during the summer in Fresno works if you have a front windshield guard.
Got em at Mr. tint in San Jose - They discount tint if you pay cash.

EVT Wheel for Tesla Model S ("Turbine" Style)

I tried to buy rims from them twice. The first time they returned the money and said that the payer and the recipient must be one person. I paid again from the recipient, waited two weeks, after which they said they would send in 3 days and a month later they said that they can't send to Russia. Be careful if you want to receive outside the United States.

EV Wheel Direct 20" satin black turbines. Tyres are a hell of a lot cheaper for 20" than 21". You're also not paying the crazy amount tesla are asking for 21" turbines.View attachment 321260

Tire Rack had a closeout special on the 21” Axis Model S rim. The rears were $132 per rim and the fronts were $230 per rim. Mounted a set of Falken Azenis FK510’s

Decided to use the opportunity to show my 14 year old son how to change a tire.

QUESTION:

How many of you folks with 21s are having issues with inner fender rubbing?

I have 21” factory turbines painted metallic charcoal, and I added 20mm spacers because i strongly prefer wheels that sit flush with the fender.

Trouble is, it seems like anything above +35 offset starts to rub on the front inner fender.

Dropping the PSI from 50 to 45 seemed to help, but not solve the problem. And I was hoping to do drop links, but with this much rubbing I’m not sure that’s an option.

How are y’all getting the flush look without a ton of rubbing??

Here’s mine, btw:

I imagine the 20” vs 21” gives you a solid amount more space in the arch than I have with 21s.

Actually they are nearly identical in diameter to the stock 245/35/21. 704mm vs 704.9mm

I'm certain your offset is causing the rubbing. It never did it before you put the spacers on, right?

What you can do is heat up the area of the fender well that is rubbing and push it forward so the tire no longer comes in contact with it.
Or you can shave your spacers a few millimeters.

Aggmeister201we have noticed after lowering a Model S, the rubbing may go away as the we've noticed the rubbing is only on the front surface (closest to the front bumper) of the front inner fender liner (and only rubs at certain angles). Offset, wheel width and tire size/brand also plays factors in the rubbing.

We identified rubbing using a 21x9.0+30 on a factory Michelin 245/35-21. When we backed the offset down to a +35, and lowered an S on the same tire, we noticed no rubbing. Keep in mind not tires of the same size are equal in dimension (some are rounder and some are square on the edges).

20” TE37 Ultra Track Editions in diamond black gunmetal color. Have been looking for a set for the past year that fits the model S.

Lowered on Unplugged Performance lowering brackets for Air Suspension models.

The best looking wheels I have seen under Tesla. I have been looking for OZ Challenge lookalikes but in 20''. But these look super mean as well.
