Snapped a quick shot of my new wheels, will get some more shots later this week.

20" Vossen CVT
Staggered Setup - Front 20x9 | Rear 20x10.5 - Vossen recommended offsets (high)
Tires - Front 245/40-20 | Rear 275/35-20

Fitment is real tight. Had to use a 5mm spacer in the rear. And, the valve stem caps hit the brake caliper, so had to remove the cap and put on a thin silicone protective sleeve in its place. No rubbing or anything, so pretty happy about that.

Got my Grey Metallic TST and took some quick pics before I scratch them  So far so good. They are a tad darker than some of other pictures out there. I was originally concerned about them being lighter than the Tesla grey wheels but it looks great in person. I hope my pictures convey the true shade. As for the efficiency, I drove my usual 60miles round trip and saw the same Wh/mi so no problems there. Enjoy the pics and will do another shoot at a secret location this week.

Anyone thought of getting BMW wheels for the MS. There's lots to chose from in the 19-21" range and most have a 5/120 bolt circle and ET between 35 and 45. Changing the center mark from BMW to Tesla of course.
Quite expensive though...

Don't buy BMW wheels they are ugly and very heavy.
I did not like my BMW M Sport wheels so I change to BC wheels 20"

BTW Will my BMW BC wheels fit the Tesla they are ET 35?
I like to keep my BC wheels for the Tesla when I get it if they do fit.

Can you guys help me out? I have a set of 20" wheels, 20x9 +35 and 20x10 +40

I read the forum my wheel should fit my model S, but what would be the proper tire set up?

Can you guys give me some advise based on your experience? Thanks,

Also, I have a set of Lexus TPMS on the wheels, will they work on the Tesla? If not, what TPMS should I buy?

Call tire rack and have them help you with proper tire sizing. they can also sell you the right tpms sensors. The Lexus ones won't work.

Im running 20X9 35ET and 20X10 32ET, which makes it a bit more aggressive than your 20s, also more flush with the fenders
Wearing Pilot super sport, 255/40/20 and 285/35/20
Perfect setup IMO

AndreyATC, only difference I see is my rear wheel 40ET vs yours 32ET, should I expect my rear wheels to be less flush with the fender?

Also, any range difference with the pilot super sport?

Thanks
Yes, it will be less flush in the rear for you
Regarding range is kind of odd
I was expecting some loss due to wider tire and stickier rubber, but surprisingly it stayed exactly the same.
I have a different problem though, these tires push me to have more fun
They really inspire confidence in model S
It is almost like you have a different car now
Summer Tire replacement - stay with 21

Looks Great

Hi there that looks great what size are they? & if you don't mind could you please send me the phone # for them guys & what you paid for them. I get my new car in Nov & I think they will look great on my white one :) thx for your help.

I worked with Omar at Wheel Outlet. They have done a number of these configurations on MS but in standard finish color rims and 295/25 rears. I preferred 285/30. This (my) size seems to work great specially since this way I have more side-wall cushion and a less expensive costing tire (~$255/rear tire) I requested this color Since it matches the undercarriage, grey looking plastic body parts of the MS, they don't show the break dust that easily, and of course since powder-coated, the rims are less prone to damage.

Contact Omar at San Diego Wheel Outlet and remind him of the Tesla he did for me (Sean) from up here in Orange County, CA. He'll remember... You can message me and I can send you my price and his direct contact number as well. By the way, I'm super happy with him and his outfit. Exceptional customer service and TireRack beating prices to boot!
