I just got my 2019 SR and a couple of times when I got in the car, SiriusXM doesn’t work. I click on a station and nothing plays. I rebooted the MCU and also sent refresh signals from SXM. I’m on 2019.40.50.7. Any ideas?

Is the car out in the open or in your garage. There must be a direct unimpeded path between the car and the satellite for it to work.
Yes, both times this has happened, it's been in a parking lot with clear view of the clouds.

Sounds like the XM receiver itself may be on the fritz. It doesn't sound like it's signal related if it occurs in open space.
Yes, I see 3 bars for reception too. I just scheduled a Mobile Service Appointment. Is this something Mobile Support can repair?

That sounds like a different issue. I don't get a crackling sound a reboot didn't fix it for me. It's sporadic.

If you read through those posts there is a reference to another thread: SiriusXM Issues | Tesla, which lists the other XM Radio problems. With the latest software version, the only problem I have is that XM goes away completely. The only thing that makes it come back is to either to Power Off the car (through the menu) or exit the car and wait a while.

Here I thought I was going to be getting reliable SiriusXM compared to my 2015 which I was using the iOS app via Bluetooth for.
