this does not seem to work, btw. it has now been well more than 24 hours and it still won't play the damn song for me to reverse the thumbs down...

I assume the Slacker profile is specific to the car and not each driver profile?
Thumbs down means nothing, I've thumbed down literally 20-30 Drake songs. It continually plays Drake though, even songs that still have the thumbs down showing. Slacker Radio is the worst streaming service I've ever used.
What did you expect with a bunch of slackers running the company?Slacker Radio is the worst streaming service I've ever used.
you don't seem to understand how thumbs down works. it only will kill that particular song, not the entire catalog from that artist.
I ran into this same issue yesterday, I called Tesla and they gave me the creds for the Slacker account BUT the whole account was empty when I logged on online. I opened a ticket with Slacker to see what can be done since their website UI seems to not show changes made from the car.
wait, really? they gave you the login for a model 3 slacker account?
Reading through this thread, and I'm really trying to understand how Slacker works. Apparently my 3 has it's own account, and that's what I'm using at the moment, is that correct?
Should I try to set up my own account on Slacker's web site, and then use my own account in the car. Is there a charge for this, as it appears the free accounts on Slacker have commercials, but the account used by my Model 3 has no commercials.
Does that mean that Tesla has paid for a commercial free account for me. If so, how long will this last?
yep.
you can, but the one that comes with the car is a slacker plus account (no commercials and unlimited skips but NOT the top level account that allows you to play any song at any time). you can sign in with a free account if you want, but you would then have ads and limited skips.
yes, see above. i don't think there is a consensus on how long it will last...i think with the S it was four years, but there are still people who are past that time period that aren't being charged...
