Slacker question

New owner, one month, and loving every minute that I spend in the car. How do I get my Slacker info to login online? I tried my Tesla credentials and it didn't work. Two emails to Tesla have not been answered. I've learned a great deal on this board but could not find this in a search. Do we even have login credentials?

Jeff

-1. Yes, you do have to contact Tesla.
-2. Yes, You do have the Tesla provided log-in
Caveat is, once you login with the Tesla credentials, you can access the Slacker control settings, which will allow you to set the bit rate for the music download speed.
"Play audio stream at 320kbps for the best sound if your connection supports it (Subscribers Only)".
Click on the Tesla I.D. the go to 'General Settings', cursor down to - MAXIMUM AUDIO QUALITY
Slide control to 'ON'
This makes a world of difference in the Premium Audio system.

When I did it a year ago it was by emailing [email protected].

p.s: When picking up our model 3 I asked the delivery specialist if I needed to ask again for the slacker logins to enable 320kbps and he said there was no need to do that anymore because it was enabled by default now (I didn't verify this information though).

How does one "check the Slacker settings after a firmware update"? I've not been able to login to Slacker for about a week.
You will need to contact Tesla and ask them for your username and password, in order to log in at Slacker Radio Featured
Once there, you will see your email address on the header bar, upper left top.
Right click on your email address and in the drop down, select account settings.
In this window are two selections, USER INFORMATION, GENERAL SETTINGS, select General Settings
Scroll down to the MAXIMUM AUDIO QUALITY and make sure the slider is showing - ON

Play audio stream at 320kbps for the best sound if your connection supports it (Subscribers Only).

You really should check these settings every several months because it will revert back to a lower quality
Enjoy

Thanks for this info. I used the Tesla provided username and email to login to Slacker on a computer then went to Manage Subscriptions and the page says:
Cancelled
Redeemed Gift Code
Termination Date 9/19/2019 (which is 4 years after purchase)

Odd that I can use it on my computer, but no longer in the car. I contacted Service and asked them and now it's working (after 5 days). They said it was a problem with Slacker, not Tesla.
