Earlier today I backed over what I thought was just a fluffy pile of snow.
Then as I pulled forward and clear of the snow I stopped to check all was well under the car.
Turns out, lurking in the snow must have been some ice that grabbed part of the shield that goes under the front of the car and bent it down. And this with my brand new (6 week old) S. Ugh.
I was concerned that I’d done something bad even though the car seemed to drive ok so just to be sure I drove to the SLC service center.
I figured showing up an hour before closing without an appointment was going to be bad so I was really happy when they just asked for the key, drove it into the shop and put it up on a lift.
Then happy and relived when they showed me the bent part was just a plastic cover that they were able to put right in no time and had me on my way in less than half an hour.
And no bill to boot!
