Slipstreams to Arachnids

The driving experience has been superb with the arachnids. The car feels like it’s on rails! Slightly louder crunch from the road but not significantly noisier than the old 19s.

I need to fill out the center caps with stickers. They look bland from a distance.

Coming from someone who drives a beautiful p85d to say the spiders make you feel like you are riding on rails is no small sratement. My mere p85 has incredible road feel and handling beyond words. Oh, and they look f-ing awesome. Bravo again to Tesla for yet another engineering marvel!

Also, did the red calipers come with the car or did you paint/cover them, and how? Seems like the brush on paint and lettering from Mytesla may be the way to go.

red calipers are standard on
P85 P85D P90D P100D cars. I personally don't see the point of painting them on non P cars. Feels like upbadging.

Not sure why my p85 came without red calipers, but plan to paint them this Wednesday if the weather cooperates. Will post before and after pics.

If you bought the car used, the previous owner may have upbadged an 85.

Finally had to install first generation TPMS into the spiders to get them to synchronize with the car. It was either that or get new harness in the car to read individual tire psi. Next up, red calipers!
