So apparently phone charging cables, 14-50 adapter, and J1772 are not included anymore

Just got my new SR(-) via home delivery (pearl is beautiful!), and was surprised to hear some news from the delivery guy.
Apparently the following items will not be included anymore:
1) phone charging cables (for the center console)
2) 14-50 charging adapter for UMC
3) J1772 public charger adapter for UMC

Mine car indeed did not have #1, but luckily still had #2 and #3.

Not sure if #1 applies only to SR models, but #2 and #3 seems to be across the board, since I do not see it listed on the kit anymore either:
Gen 2 Mobile Connector Bundle

This is rather annoying since I had just placed my order for the frunk mat and 14-30 adapter, and had I known about the phone cables I would have tossed that into the order too I'm already over the $35 free shipping threshold.
But now I have to order them separately and will have to pay shipping.

Update: never mind regarding free shipping threshold, seems like free shipping on all orders, no minimum. Yay!

J1772 adapter was always included with car (and still is, unless Tesla posts otherwise. I wouldn’t trust a delivery person’s word). It was never part of the UMC kit, however, as it has nothing to do with the UMC.
But isn't the charging kit you get in the trunk the same as the "Gen 2 Mobile Connector Bundle" on website? That's where J1772 adapter used to be included...

I ordered a LR AWD Model 3 and was told the car would come with the mobile connector which would include a NEMA 5-15 adapter only - I'd have to buy the 14-50 separately (which I ordered 2 days ago and still have not received a tracking number for).

I am hoping mine comes with the phone charging cords since they are specially designed to fit in the charging area...

Is your car coming with the j1772 ?

Wow that was a surprise to read. Looked at the charging on the website and seems to apply across the board to Model 3 - Model S - Model X. Got my AWD LR last September and received all the "formerly typical" adapters with the car. In some ways I can see it making sense to reduce the cost of the Mobile Charger and let people buy the adapters they think or know they will use instead of paying for a number they don't. I have adapters that I'll probably never use, but would be ready for any type of charging situation if I had the need to travel a lot across country.

Kind of sucks if you are a new owner just picking up your car and don't realize you need to pick up adapters for your area's usage. Especially those new owners who live in an apartment/condo without charging at home and need to rely on L2 charging. But at least the NEMA 5-15 works with a standard 120v wall outlet, which if you have an outlet in your garage will work and get you some charge. Hope they are cluing people in before delivery so they can order ahead of time.

This adapter never came with the kit, it came with the car though and according to Tesla it still does.

SAE J1772 Charging Adapter
*This adapter comes standard with every Tesla vehicle.

I just bought a second one to leave it at one of the remote places I frequent and noticed there is now a B version. My 3 came with the A version.

did it come with the phone charging cables?

By default the car comes with a lightening cable and a USB-C cable, but when you pick it up, you should get the 'wrong' one swapped for the right one, presuming that you are either an Android or and Apple household, not both.

Note: I don't know the correct answer for the SR+. My statement applies to the "premium interior" variants.

I picked up a Performance on Tuesday and it did not come with phone cables — the delivery person said they were no longer included. It did come with 14-50 dongle and j1772 adapter, however.

I picked up my April 24th build date last Saturday, a lr awd. It came with all the 14-50, 5-15 and adapter. It did NOT come with the phone cord even though when I placed the order at the Tesla showroom i “selected” my type of cord. I asked the delivery specialist and was told phone cords are no longer given.

My sales person said given the date of the build there was a chance the 14/50 would be in the car but not supported officially going forward.

I’d ask SC about cords, they should come with car. Guessing they were forgotten. Check center console and glove box?

No. They just threw the J1772 adapter into the bag when it’s delivered with the car. When you buy the Mobile Connector bundle (either generation) it never had a J1772. That was always sold separately. The J1772 adapter has nothing to do with the UMC.
