So confused about financing and home delivery

I ordered a Model 3 last week, got a VIN a few days later. Now I don’t know what to do with auto loan and home delivery. My credit union needs certificate of origin to close the loan. I need the check before the delivery. But Tesla told me that the cherry won’t come until after delivery. I am so confused.

Which bank can issue a check without seeing the certificate of origin? Bank of America?

Don’t I need the certificate of origin to register the car? Does it mean that I won’t be able to drive the car right away even I get it? I heard some people got theirs more than a month later.

PNC Bank gave me a ‘check-ready’ loan. I applied for an amount, and they sent a blank check good for up to that amount. At delivery I wrote the VIN and amount on the check and handed it to Tesla, along with a personal check for my down payment. They gave me a license plate, a temporary registration window sticker, and did the paperwork for a proper registration. About a week or 10 days later, I got the real registration in the mail and removed the window sticker.

I’m not sure what the ‘certificate of origin’ is — nobody asked me for one or (as far as I know) gave me one.

This was all in PA.

In NY, my bank, Bethpage Credit Union needed a dealer invoice but they were perfectly happy the the Motor Vehicle Purchase Agreement that was emailed to me when I asked my sales rep and delivery specialist. I then needed a binder from my insurance company which I had set effective for date of delivery.
In advance of all of this, I went to the bank a week early to ask them if all the papers I had were good and they said yes. I called my insurance company and asked for the future effective date and they sent me the binder. I wen to bank in morning of devliry and they gave me the check.
Got a text from the delivery specialist when she was on her way over, a few hours later. My Ring Wired Spotlight picked up the car arriving at my home. All went well.
