so is there a way to signup for car updates faster or I hate to say it beta releases?

Hey all, I am a relatively new model 3 owner here and since taking ownership I have received two updates to my car.
I know i am not on the latest software that included the pin to drive feature. Is there a 'magical' way to ask Tesla support to add you to the special list to get updates quicker or even beta updates?

No*, if they need Early Access folks they will send out the email inviting you.

*you can also get early builds if you have a bunch of referrals (or at least the last time I looked that was an option).

Go to your service center and ride on their WiFi for a bit. Seems like every time my car is in the service parking lot I get a notification of a new update. No guarantee

Also, Stats and Teslafi apps track the fleet so you can see how many people have each software version. Typically the 3's seem to have cars on 5 or 6 different software versions. It doesn't help you to get the software update but the information typically keeps me more patient.

I didn't think that the 3 got the pin to drive. Only the S and X because of their dongle flaw

If you make 4 referrals, you get "Priority Access to Vehicle Software Updates". But I got that and it doesn't seem to speed up the updates, at least not yet.

Park your car with all four valve stems at 12 o'clock position.
(It has been suspected that the valve stems double as antennas and when all point in the same direction, they are in sync - up being the strongest signal position)

I am pretty sure this is not true, at least not in order by vin.
