So, no soup (v9) for M3s

According to TeslaFi, almost no Model 3 has downloaded the 39.6 firmware.
I wonder if they found a bug or something.
Any guesses when the update is coming for us?

My guess is it'll be officially released at 3:18 PM eastern standard time, on October 9th. Of this year. Then 3's will start to get it.

The release notes mentioned something about pressing ctrl+alt+del to force an update on 3's.

Yeah I’m getting restless waiting for mine. Keep checking the app waking up the car checking my router info to see if my car is downloading any info... Ugh gimme V9 please!

my car is in the SC and they just updated it to v9. I received an email with all the update details.. of course the car is still in the shop so I don't get to play with it yet..

Seriously, it is coming, and today’s posts show that it is starting to be released. But it will take a week or two for all Model 3’s to get it.

Got my update early this morning too (3:30am eastern). Update took about 10 minutes. Haven’t driven with it yet but the dashcam looks awesome. The Atari emulator froze the car and needed to be rebooted tho. Otherwise very exited to have it!

Just got the notification for update and completed in 15 minutes. Can’t wait to try it on the road!
