You can install our site as a web app on your iOS device by utilizing the Add to Home Screen feature in Safari. Please see this thread for more details on this.

I have had my Tesla Model 3 for 1 month now and a software update shown in the App, it tells me to "connect to wifi to download" my car / phone is connected to wifi but no joy with software updating...any ideas?
it's the car that needs a wifi connection to download the update. Go in the car menu under system (or software?). If there's an update available, it will tell you. You even get a progress bar as it downloads.
If you’re on v10 I would strongly encourage you to stay there. V11 is absolute garbage. If you’ve already had the misfortune of updating to v11, you can contact Tesla to see if they can restart the firmware download for your car. I had one freeze in the past that required their intervention to fix.
