Hi! I have a model X that was delivered in September but is still on software version 8.1 2018.36.1. I usually charge daily at work or at public chargers / superchargers, but not at home. Also, cannot connect the car to wifi at home and at work. Could it have anything to do with the case?

You'll get an update but others with wi-fi are more prioritized while you'll wait for your turn.

However, if you want Navigate on Autopilot, you'll need a new map which requires wi-fi or you might ask if a Service Center can push map update for you.

It has everything to do with the case. I'd figure out a way to get wifi at your home.
