Someone ordered a Tesla Y using my referral link - no confirmation by email and in the app

Hello everyone.
A friend ordered a Tesla Y using my referral link, he hasn't paid the full price yet, he's only paid the reservation fee and he hasn't picked up the car yet.
Should I already see in the application that someone has placed an order and that I am waiting for points to be awarded or should I already receive an e-mail with such information?

I got an email stating that I have pending points as soon as the order was placed. The points became available right after delivery.
