Something rolling inside hood

All of a sudden I have two somethings rolling inside my hood. One each on the left and right outside channels. The car is a 2020 MS and for the first 1500 miles this wasn't there. I close the hood and whatever they are roll to the front, open the hood and they roll to the back outside corners. I can feel something roll by one of the small round openings in the hood channel. Sounds like hard plastic or possibly metal. Hood latch, hood struts, hinges and washer plumbing are all tight. I doubt something from outside entered the pretty well protected openings on both sides at the same time. It seems like something inside the hood came loose. No idea what. A forum search didn't turn up anything similar. Anyone else ever deal with this?

I have this problem too. No idea what it could be but I hear it occasionally when I open the frunk. It doesn't bother me too much.

And I truly appreciate them putting one on each side to keep the weight distribution equal side to side.

Most don't know this, but squirrels are actually very thoughtful and considerate.

In my March 2018 S the tailgate had a screw rolling around in there, which I got out when I ran the wires for my Blackvue 2 channel dash cam... I'd bet that it's left over screws or such from assembly.
