It took a while for my message to get actually posted (was awaiting moderation for days).

The setting wasn't there for the first day or two after the update and then magically appeared. I'm wondering if it needed to calibrate cameras some more?

I've also had an issue where FWD / top ultrasonic sensors basically stopped working and FWDs/trunk were flying open all the way - nearly hit my garage door a few times. Rebooting a few times didn't help but then it automagically fixed itself after that same day or two. 🤷

Do you have the hands free trunk feature option on? Same thing happened to me. FWD hit the top of my garage a couple of nights ago (no damage surprisingly). I was going to recalibrate my doors but I saw another post where disabling the new hands free trunk feature will fix this issue. I didn't like the hands free trunk option anyway but now my FWDs are back to normal.

It's enabled now and FWD/height sensors are working. Didn't think of disabling it as means to troubleshoot the issue. I may have disabled and then re-enabled it as it was a bit annoying with beeping while walking around the car in garage but in the end liked the feature overall.
It was overnight "rest" that fixed the issue for me and now seems to be OK with hands free trunk still enabled.

I still haven’t gone one both fsd and general software’s… it’s been more than 2 mo since I had an update

I'm long overdue for an update too (although not as overdue as you). I usually get one around day 3 of a wide release. That means I should have had 14.6 yesterday. Got passed over by 14.5 as well.

I've been on 8.9 since Apr 8th. FSD v11.1 sucks on 8.9.

2024.14.7 just dropped so that gives us on 8.9 another chances to get updated.

60-days on 2024.8.9 w/ FSD v11 for me today...think that's my longest update wait EVER since my 1st Model 3 back in 2018, nut at least I'm not alone.

I'll happily skip the 14-series now that the 20-series is rolling and we get some real updates like Auto Doors, Adaptive Headlights and HVAC cooling updates! 🤞

I guess I spoke too soon… an hour after my post and got 14.9 downloading 😆

Or maybe Tesla is listening 🫣

Time to install those pool noodles! 👀

Im on 2024.3.25 and FSD 12.3.6 How far behind am I? Its a 2023 X plaid with FSD paid for that I bought used a few weeks ago.
Many folks are on that release, self included. If you were a long term FSD beta operator, that is normal. You probably have been on 12.3.6 since end of April. Folks that are on 2024.14.something are just now getting 12.3.6. I am mainly interested in getting FSD 12.4.1 or newer. But that has only gone out to a few youtubers, so far. Teslafi has the details.
