Confirmed my Model S 85kWh order last week and couldn't be happier than that

I like to thank all the TMC members for sharing all yours experiences and thoughts which makes the most important part to take the biggest car purchase decision in my life. I'm also thrilled to feel that I'll have a small footprint towards a greener world.

Thanks, Art. Tesla dashboard is showing April delivery but email from "Orientation Specialist" is saying Late April - Early May. Anyway I'm happy if it is in April

I ordered my fully loaded P85D in late December and expect delivery in March. It is scarlett with gray interior. I think the value of the car went up late in the evening of January 12th! I must admit, checking the status on My Tesla is getting old!

Congratulations. If you have a garage now is the time to remodel and make it Tesla Ready. New RaceDeck floor is great & easy to self install. Match colors to your car. It helped me with the anticipation. Still couldn't sleep, but I stayed active.

Thanks for the idea. RaceDeck looks cool but I don't want to do it in my rental house now. I'm keeping myself busy by as much as I can read and watch videos about Model S

It's almost there :biggrin:. Everything is happening earlier then expected. Got my VIN (77484) assigned on 2/16. DS called me on 26th and told it's going to be delivered on last week of March not late April or early May (That was estimated after order confirm).

Today morning received an email saying my MS is in Production :smile:. So is it going to deliver even earlier?? I'm assuming production time 8~10 days then shipping from CA to Chicago another week?

I think everybody is getting updates by emails.

How do you got updates on your MS?

The emails are sent by your DES. Some seen to be quite proactive some... not so much.

OK thanks. For EU customers the production date does not mean so much because it's still expected to take almost 2 months before I get my car.

How do you got updates on your MS?

I check the MyTesla site. Right now it says "Your Model S is in transit from the factory".
