Having issues with service, cmon, some ICE car service centers are even worth, no rentals, no uber money, you sit there and breath gas, oil etc.

If you are experiencing these from a service center at this price point, you are clearly in the wrong brand or service center.

Completely agree. And in fact, for the few times I had to bring my Chevy Volt in for service, I ALWAYS got an Enterprise rental. Tesla promised loaners, and keeps changing/reducing their policy. I'm sure they'll end up halting Uber credits at some time as well.

I have this conversation often enough with friends and strangers. I tell them that the good outweighs the bad, but only by a hair.

Between the poor reliability, not being able to get in touch with service, high repair costs, the over-promising and under-delivering, etc. I likely would not buy a Model S again, nor would I recommend it. I might buy another Model 3 when my battery warranty expires in a few years.
