Strobe light (Headlights) on demand

Searching the forums with no luck hoping to find a way to turn on Strobe Light effect. Cars and Coffee, parades, etc., would be cool to turn on during special events. Something similar to the flash during a Sentry Mode event.

Any suggestions?

There’s an API so if you’re handy with coding you could rig up a quick script to loop and keep calling the API to flash the lights I suppose.

The expensive way is to go with Teslux Innovations. Hopefully I'm allowed to mention them as they aren't a paid vendor here. But they do have some pretty cool parts and have the lights you are inquiring about.

I was just looking for that video on YouTube, but had no idea the full setup was $2600! That's way to much for flashing headlights that change colors, IMO, but to some money is no object.

That’s a great idea! I’ll have to find out if there is code for more individual control of the lights.

If you root the car, you might have a chance of getting to individual light controls (similar to how the Model X can do the light show), but Tesla's not going to have that accessible via the (unofficial) API.

I didn't see flashing lights. I only saw 2 extra lights installed down by the license plates.
