Subzero vs. Pre-heating

Sorry I wasn't clear. Say I'm parked at work and it snows 2 inches. My car is not under cover and snow has now accumulated on my hood, roof, etc.

I can clear away the snow from the windows, but I should also clear away snow from the hood and also the roof. I wouldn't want to drive and have that snow blow on to the person behind me. I would also clear off the snow from all of my lights etc...

I think what the OP may be asking - is it okay to treat the hood like any other hood when snowed on? We all know that the Model S hood is thin and has special "closure" instructions.

Heated seats, heated steering wheel and heated wipers are a joy in cold weather.
All cars sold in cold weather climates should have them.
