Suggestions for fixing a rattle in console....

The shelf (phone dock) for charging phones in the middle console rattles. I may just stick a penny between it and the wall of the console, but has anyone else had same problem and come up with a better way to fix it?

Try this one:

My Model 3 cell phone dock had a slight rattle on rougher roads when a phone was docked. Service center looked and said it’s a problem that occurs on many of their cars and there wasn’t a fix currently - so I found a pretty easy solution using 3M felt circle fasteners on each side instead. : teslamotors

I took mine to the service center for the creaking noise in the phone dock. Not sure what they did, but it's completely silent now.

I had this issue too. The pads on the side wouldn’t be a solution for me. It was loudest with the phone in, and if I rotated the holder up so that the sides were sticking out of the console, it still rattled. Unless I put the dock down and pushed on it, that stopped it.

Ironically, I made a DIY wireless charging pad to replace the rubber pad and what do you know, no rattles. I have no idea why but I am happy.
