I am going to predict a reveal of Tuesday, July 25th. Elon tweeted on 9/2/2015 the reveal date of Model X to be the final Tuesday of the month (9/29/2015). So I'll go with a similar amount of notice and same day of the week.

At the 3/31/16 reveal, it was known ahead of time, so people could be chosen to be in the audience. We have not had notice of that yet, so this Sunday news is likely an announcement if the reveal date a week or 2 from now.

So now we can speculate on when the full announcement will be, to see if all the previous speculation was right or not.

Probably but I don't understand the logic. Why tease a two day wait just to announce a date? Why not just do it now? Why do it on a Sunday? Is he just trying to create hype?
