Hi dgc0,Hi all. Here is an official update.
PG&E finally energized the site last week. Techs are scheduled to be in Arnold Thursday to commission the site. If all goes well the site should be open to the public late Thursday.
Hi dgc0,
Any updates that you can share with us on PG&E and Tesla turning this thing back on?
I believe it was 4/9.
Sooooo nobody will want to get them working? LOL..They fired the entire supercharger team today I think.
Whoever replaces them is probably going to want to get these chargers working real quick.
At this point Mohammed from accounting or William from HR will be expected to do it. Isn’t that what they did at Xitter when they fired everyone? Random guy roaming the building got called on to fix problems when they fired everyone..Sooooo nobody will want to get them working? LOL..

Apologies for the delayed response. The chargers were temporarily activated and there was a communications issue resulting in Tesla temporarily turning off the chargers. On April 14th our contact at Tesla stated "Tesla HQ has powered off the chargers until the communications issue is resolved. We are pending the new replacement dish from Starlink." On April 29th they were unable to provide me with shipping updates. Unfortunately it appears as if our contact was one of the employees who was laid off last week. Working on getting a resolution, but have nothing to report at this time.
Yes, you can. It is not that quick of a charger. 50 kW. But it will eventually get the job done.Anyone know if you can charge a Model Y at the Rocket gas station charger with an adapter?
When was that? I guess I will call and make sure it works as I was up last summer and the damn thing was down!I charged with my Model S there, topped out at 42kw for me. The fried chicken at the gas station is pretty good
