That would be like looking at the Nissan dealer's sign about a mile West on Washington Blvd! This site is still fenced for construction. Today (Sunday) just past noon, this is the state of progress. Looks like the only physical work remaining is removal of rubble, and construction of the enclosure around the converters & breaker box!

Drove by today in my Lexus hybrid on the way from Charleston to Atlanta. Looks like it is ready to go!! Next trip will be in the Tesla I hope!

Thanks for the new picture. It looks like all that is left are the GA Power turn on (but that could already be done), any legally required inspections (which also could be complete), and Tesla's own outside agency inspection for liability purposes, and the actual Tesla tech to finally turn it on for good (we hope). It was at this point that Indio CA got stuck for months for reasons I never discovered. Let's hope that does not happen here.

If anyone hears anything about an opening date, please post. It could be as soon as the coming week. For soon-to-be Tesla owners following this, you can tell if the stalls are powered up by whether or not the TESLA name at the top is illuminated.

Is Tesla still doing opening events?

There's a GA power Chademo if you have the adapter. Can get ~25 KW/h in 30 minutes or so for $5.

Just finished charging. Outstanding!!
One of the technicians stopped by while I was here. System went online late yesterday. Minor cleanup and activation of charger 1 will occur tomorrow.

BTW, Tesla in-car browser is a real PITA!
