Excellent. I-10 (and 12) need some love. Based on the size of the work area and the other permitted locations nearby, I suspect this is going to be a 12 stall site.

Excellent news - the existing 6 stall location in Baton Rouge gets full quick.
Not as dire a situation as the once-upon-a-time lone 6-stall Albuquerque Supercharger but a pain point nonetheless.

Latest Tesla Find Us map which was updated early August has this as Q4 2022.
The Covington/Mandeville LA location also along I-12 is slated for Q3 2022, and construction is well underway.

Update, installing electrical lines Friday. This one is between work and home for me, I’ll definitely be checking it out.

Construction has started! All the equipment looks like it’s there, and they’ve started tearing up the parking lot.

Yep, definitely 3 cabinets on site. They’ve started installing the precast concrete pedestal supports. Seems to be moving quickly!
Ah, now I can see it was a narrow precision cut along the edge of the concrete. Looks much better already!
Dec. 19, 2022 Airline Hwy by Albertsons and Taco Bell in Baton Rouge. Believe there is a total of 10 stalls, and guy out there working on it said he believes it's 250 KW charging and it'll be ready end of Jan. 2023.
