Pretty sure it is, my son lived in the apt complex next to Lowes and it was Austin Energy.Fence gone around pedestals.

The fence has been reduced to the transformer pad area. Transformer pad and meter base ready.
Is this Austin Energy area?

No one knows except Austin Energy. There is no transformer to power the Tesla equipment yet.I was there today. They look ready but aren’t “switched on” yet. Anyone know when they will be live?
The supercharger pedestals look deceptively complete, but there are a number of potentially lengthy steps left.No one knows except Austin Energy. There is no transformer to power the Tesla equipment yet.

Each of these tasks is pretty much a different team with their own schedule, most tasks have a "meeting of the minds" of more than one team. Even though the pedestals and paving look pretty much complete, there is a lot left to do. The stars might align and several things happen in a short period of time, but it won't be done by "this Saturday".
- The conduits are empty (need cables run from transformer to at least the white Tesla cabinets)
- [Possibly] wiring from cabinets to charging pedestals (can't tell from the given photos)
- Transformer needs to show up and be properly placed on footings
- Transformer needs to be wired to meter and Tesla equipment
- Meter needs to be installed and wired
- Incoming power feed from a pole (likely) or buried cable (less likely) somewhere
- Fuses on the power feed connected (activating the meter->transformer->...)
- Tesla tech needs to check operation of equipment, recall previous workers if necessary
Why keep it up?“Deceptively” is a great choice of words as why take down the fence until ready?
Probably because it has not yet been inspected by Austin Energy. Once it passes inspection Austin Energy will install the meter. Great progress here.
Well the Westlake site was in this state for a few weeks before an inspection occurred and a meter got installed. But even after passing inspection and getting the meter the site still had/has no connection to the grid. What time frame do you all think? Making a trip to Spicewood here soon and it would be great to have this available outside of Austin.
Weeks to months. No guarantees on this stuff. What time frame do you all think? Making a trip to Spicewood here soon and it would be great to have this available outside of Austin.
