Supercharger - Berkeley Heights, NJ

It appears a new 12 stall supercharger location is going up in Berkeley Heights, NJ. Located in the parking lot of Embassy Suites \ Grain & Cane \ Starbucks.

Does anyone have more information about the timeline for this site? It doesn’t appear on supercharger.info.

This charger will probably help alleviate some come of the congestion at the Springfield Supercharger.
EVgo also added a 350 kw charger down the hill at the WaWa in Plainfield.

I can’t confirm 100% this is a super charger deployment but it appears most likely due to # of stalls and the shape of the charger platforms.

This is 100%, guaranteed, a Tesla Supercharger.

Still no transformer on 9/16. Here is a photo if some additional boxes with a model number that may help further confirm it is a tesla location.

I stopped by over the weekend as well. Disappointed to see no progress, but these projects take time.

Took a photo last week. Forgot to post. Fence is down. Surprised it takes so long for the transformer work.

Quick update...I stopped by last week. No change in status.

Transformer lead times are still over a year.. I waited 19 months for a simple 500kva 4160-208Y/120 pad mtd mineral oil unit for a private level 2 application where we are deploying Tesla universal wall packs.. that will be installed a couple miles from this site, the only good thing has been the delay allowed us to pivot from solely deploying J1772 now that NACS has taken over. Pre-pandemic a similar xfmr would be 10 weeks on average..
